Charbel Kaed is a Solutions Engineer for Google Smart Building Platform. Charbel brings more than 10 years of experience in the IoT space to Google Cloud from his previous positions at Schneider Electric & France Telecom. Prior to Google, Charbel gained deep knowledge in the industrial IoT solutions in addition to graph databases and ontologies as they relate to IoT data. Charbel received his Ph.D. in Informatics from the University of Grenoble, France in 2012 and M.S. Eng. in Telecommunication and Distributed Systems from Ensimag-Telecom, Grenoble, France in 2008. He has a number of patents and publications in peer-reviewed conferences and journals.
