Marcos Da Silveira

CV

Marcos Da Silveira is researcher at Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) since 2008. The goal of LIST is to fill up the gap between academic research and industrial innovations. Marcos collaborates with industries to provide training, consulting services, and support for research and development activities. His main skills include Dynamic Knowledge Representation and Maintenance, Machine Learning, and Web Semantics. He is graduated in Computer Engineer (Brazil) in 1995 and he obtained a Ph.D. degree from Paul Sabatier University (France) in 2003. After his PhD, Marcos worked as researcher in France (Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems - National Center for Scientific Research), Brazil (Pontifical Catholic University of Parana), and Luxembourg (University of Luxembourg), before joining LIST.
