As an experienced data and knowledge engineer at eccenca, Markus is responsible for customer projects focussing on digital supply chain management. He also drives the further development of the eccenca knowledge graph platform Corporate Memory in regards to supply chain requirements, including the APICS / ASCM supply chain ontology for SCOR. Markus has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Leipzig University and has a track-record in ontology and data engineering, linked data, data integration, software engineering and databases. Between 2015 and 2017 he was Data Release Manager for the renowned knowledge graph project DBpedia and also took a lead in the EU project ALIGNED which focussed on the synchronization of software and data engineering life cycles.
