Tassilo Pellegrini

CV

Tassilo Pellegrini is professor of economics at the Department of Media Economics of the University of Applied Sciences in St. Pölten, Austria. He studied International Trade, Communication Science and Neurophysiology at the Universities of Salzburg, Linz and Malaga. His current research lies at the intersection of media economics, technology diffusion and ICT policy with a special focus on intellectual property rights. Beside his specialisation in digital business and IPR Tassilo Pellegrini has worked extensively on semantic technologies and the Semantic Web. He is a co-founder of the Semantic Web Company in Vienna, a co-editor of several textbooks on Semantic Web Linked Data, and Conference Chair of the annual SEMANTICS conference series founded in 2005.
