Umutcan Şimşek

CV

Umutcan Şimşek is a PhD student at STI Innsbruck, University of Innsbruck, Austria. Before joining the institute, he worked as a software engineer and received his dual masters degree from Ege University, Izmir, Turkey and Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen, Giessen, Germany in October 2015. Umutcan is currently involved in EU H2020 project ENTROPY, which aims to motivate people to adopt energy efficient lifestyles.  He is searching new ways to use semantic technologies to solve real world problems.
