The annual SEMANTiCS Innovation Award rewards outstanding activities in bringing Semantic Technologies into Industry Environments. The conference participants voted together with a jury that awarded this year’s prize to Karin Mock, Information Governance Manager at OMV.
The jury arguments as follows: "Particularly in asset-oriented industries, it is highly complex to successfully place disruptive technologies and, above all, to communicate them. Karin Mock has developed innovative methods to demonstrate the potential benefits of knowledge graphs in Austria's largest energy supplier.".
